Piano Stool Before knowing anything about Antique Roadshow and saving original finishes, I bought this piano stool for around $125 at a used furniture store in Davis and refinished it. I remember using stripping compounds and lots of sludge coming off of it. The seat looked like it was a different wood from the bottom portion, seat having been replaced earlier. Stained mahogany with high gloss varnish. Seat screws up and down. Hardware looks like it is stamped "CHAS PARKER CO MERIDAY". Metal claw feet holding glass balls.
