A mid 1800 Victorian style ball gown dress made for dancing at Gaskell's Victorian dance. A matching waistcoat was made later.

Blue, black, and burgandy plaid taffeta with black satin bertha, sheer black sleeves with satin undersleeve, black piping, sheer ruffled trim around upper edge, and laced up back.

Skirt

Blue, black, and burgandy plaid taffeta, pleated into a set waistband, hidden side pockets, ruffles on bottom edge and scalloped ruffles and black satin trim on skirt for a faux overskirt look.
 

Waistcoat

Blue, black, and burgandy plaid taffeta, black satin lining, V-neck no collar, buttons up front, clean lines with no pockets.
