Reproduction Regency evening gown made in April 11 for a PEERS dance event that was not attended. Instead took photos of the peach gown in front of the flamingos at the zoo.

Reproduction Peach Gown

Peach polyster satin with polyester sheer overlay has ruched sleeve detail and white beaded trim detail. Hem has rows of polyester satin ribbons. Artificial flowers on a row of hem and both sleeves. Neckline has ribbon drawstring and back closes with hooks and eyes and snaps.

On second look at pattern instructions, the bodice may be wrong on this dress. There should not be the 1" folded portion.

The sleeve and hem flowers are held on to the dress by ribbon bows so that the artificial flowers may be removed when washing the dress.

Bodiced Petticoat

White cotton muslin bodiced petticoat is lightly boned with plastic boning and has grossgrain ribbon ties at neckline and underbust. Closes with hooks and eyes. Has two rows of eyelet lace.

Pattern modifications: back of bodice was lowered to accommodate low back evening dresses. Hem was shortened and one tuck added.
Size 8 (not photographed) was made for a friend and looks similar to this one, but without the tuck.
Size 12 Finished Measurements:
Bust: approx 40" including ease
Underbust: 34.5"
Skirt length from high waist: 37.5"
Skirt lining circumference: 100.5"
