Light blue moire taffeta was given to me by a friend. Her mother had made a
tasselled bag. Because there was not a lot of fabric, some pieces had to be
pieced together. Victorian 1850's style dress for Gaskell's.

Light blue moire taffeta bodice with pink ribbon trim down center,
back hook and eyes, puffed sleeves with pink ribbon trim. Ivory satin ruching
on sides of center front, top edge, and sleeves. Ivory satin ruffles on
sleeve edge, ivory lace on neck edge.
Ribbon drawstring on neckline and hem.
Pattern base McCall's M4744.

Bust approx 37"
Waist approx 29"

Light blue moire taffeta gored into petals, gathered into set waistband,
pink ribbon trim with ivory satin ruffles and ruching,
hidden side pockets, hook and eye closure on side.

| Underskirt
Ivory satin gathered skirt into drawstring waistband has
five ruffled flounces of lace. Lace flounces edged with ivory ribbon.
