1957 wrap dress can be made in two tones with back a different color than
the front. Because the front is only meant to look like a sheath and doesn't
provide full coverage in the back, a full spin while dancing may be revealing
if a slip is not worn.
White and goldenrod homespun cotton wrap dress with offwhite seam binding on
edges, one button back and three buttons front.
Pattern: Butterick B4790 View B. Machine sewed hem instead of hand hemming and
made buttonholes instead of snap front. Torso is about 1" too long on me; dress
would look better on longer torso.
