dress
front back side 1957 wrap dress can be made in two tones with back a different color than the front. Because the front is only meant to look like a sheath and doesn't provide full coverage in the back, a full spin while dancing may be revealing if a slip is not worn. White and goldenrod homespun cotton wrap dress with offwhite seam binding on edges, one button back and three buttons front.

Pattern: Butterick B4790 View B. Machine sewed hem instead of hand hemming and made buttonholes instead of snap front. Torso is about 1" too long on me; dress would look better on longer torso.
