Gray jacquard satin acetate natural form bustle dress with polyester lace and organza for a wedding reception or PEERS or Gaskell's dance. Natural form bustle skirts have more fullness in the back, but follow the natural form so do not have the large frames/posteriors that are more prevalent in the early 1870s and 1880s. Note: Dress form is a little large for the bodice of this dress.

Three quarter sleeves gathered at top with organza ruffles on edge, white braid and bead trim and gray satin bow. Back-laced through buttonholes. Embroidered organza apron attached to back by buttonholes and buttons.Pattern base Butterick 3012 with sleeves from Simplicity 5457.
